Events operated by Mactera presented new challenges for Parapluie Creative and Mactera Enterprises, Inc. alike.
Parapluie Creative used already available off-the-shelf products to create a completely unique payment experience for players. We were presented with not only a tight schedule, but the issue of cross-border payments. Our solution? Never let the payments leave the USA. With Stripe Payments we were able to create an on-device experience allowing players to pre-purchase side event tickets in advance, or on site, as well as enabling fans to purchase merchandise and signatures from Mr. Mitsuhiro Arita, artist of projects including Final Fantasy XIV, and Wolves of the Beyond
Developing associated collateral presented just as much of a challenge. Parapluie developed not only a reliable online payments platform, but stunning brand collateral to lead players in the country to execute their payments.
